The chapel and hall are two great community spaces.
The hall has a stage, and a floor for dance. The vestry is ideal as a small meeting room, the kitchen is basic but good for tea & biscuits (and there definitely isn't a ghost).
We've been discussing with an architect, too - and the potential is even bigger. We could add a first floor to some of the site; we could add a new entrance area; we can fit 100m2 or more of new office and art or education space (without upsetting the neighbours!).
The chapel is right in the middle of Petersfield Ward (red outlline) in Cambridge, at 58 Sturton Street, CB1 2QA. The area which is most easily serves however is larger - a natural block as outlined in blue comprising parts of the Trumpington ("Newtown"), Abbey and Market wards ("the kite"). It would undoubtedly also pull in residents from the east side of the railway line, but the Ross Street Community Centre is already a more easily accessible option for almost all residents there.
